What Our Clients Say

Real stories from guests who discovered their perfect coffee ritual with us — where every cup is crafted with warmth, tradition, and unforgettable flavors.

"Visiting from out of town, we had to try the signature Yemeni latte. We were not disappointed. Wow! It was rich, delicious, and smooth. Served in their signature ceramic coffee cup. Classy. The service was great! Their recommendation & pleasant attitudes were spot on. We sat in comfortable chairs w a unique table in the front. The ginormous front windows gave us lots of sunshine! Plenty WFH space. Background music isn’t blaring. There is even a specific glassed off room for small meetings or gatherings. We did not have any food but there were many deliciously tempting treats. Price point would be my only hesitation to choose this place often. Little pricy compared to the other local lattes(but they are delicious) Great location when out shopping."

"I’m honestly not a coffee person at all, so walking into Yemerica Cafe with a large group of my family, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We came in together as a big party and had reserved their private room. Right away, the host impressed us. He quickly cleaned and prepared the reservation room, making sure everything was organized and comfortable for our group. Within minutes, we were seated and settled in. For a large family gathering, that kind of efficiency and hospitality makes a huge difference. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — the kind of place you can actually relax in. It’s not just a quick coffee stop; it feels like a true hangout spot where you can sit, talk, laugh, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. For families especially, that matters. One of the first things that caught our attention was their cake display. They have a large selection of fresh cakes, beautifully presented and clearly made with care. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!), we all dug in so quickly that I didn’t even get a chance to take a photo of them. That alone should tell you something. When desserts disappear before pictures are taken, you know they’re good. Each slice was fresh, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the table kept passing plates around so we could try different varieties. Since I’m not a coffee drinker, I was unsure what to order. The young man at the front was extremely helpful and recommended I try their iced date drink. I’m so glad I listened. It was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too strong with coffee flavor, and it wasn’t overly sweet either. It was perfectly balanced — smooth, refreshing, and just right for my liking. For someone who usually avoids coffee shops, this drink completely changed my expectations. It felt thoughtful, like they truly wanted to make sure I enjoyed my experience even though I’m not their typical customer. What stood out most, beyond the food and drinks, was the hospitality. Our large group was accommodated with patience and kindness. No one felt rushed, and the staff checked in just enough to make sure we were comfortable without interrupting our conversations. Overall, Yemerica Cafe is more than just a cafe — it’s a welcoming space for friends and family to gather. Great service, delicious desserts, thoughtful recommendations, and a comfortable environment make it a place I will definitely recommend. Even as someone who isn’t a coffee person, I found something I truly enjoyed. I’ll absolutely be coming back here again with my family."

"Our cousin took us to Yemerica Coffee while I was visiting from the UK for my cousin’s wedding, and we were all looking for a nice place to go together. It turned out to be such a hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything tastes fresh and authentic. Their Yemeni Adani chai is honestly the best chai I have had in Connecticut, perfectly spiced, rich, and full of flavour without being too heavy. Every sip is so comforting. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great café and amazing chai!"

"Yesterday, me and my Bible study group went to visit. The coffee and treats we had were amazing! I had the salted caramel latte and my friends had this purple potato drink and the pistachio latte. We all loved our drinks. I have been doing a coffee tour and this is the best coffee I’ve had in CT! The opening and closing time of this place is genius, most coffee shops cater to the morning routine. While this establishment provides later times for those who study and have life after 5pm. I love it. Staff was friendly and accommodating to my group. By the time we were hearing out it was a full house at around 10:20pm. May this business be blessed and fruitful was the prayers we prayed during our study."

"Such a nice place to come for coffee and a treat. The coffee is an experience - it is not traditional coffee which you need to go in thinking of but it is good as the spices sit and the coffee cools. I purchased an iced beverage and it was bitter and sweet which was a very good balance as someone who loves coffee. My boyfriend purchased a hot beverage and the spices hit the nose immediately. But the hitter for us was the chocolate cake. Creamy sweet delicious is just a few words I can use to explain this cake. It made me and my boyfriend want to purchase the entire cake. This spot is worth the trip for sure"

"I’ve been to Yemerica a few times over the past couple of weeks, and I honestly love it. I tried their Karak for the first time! It’s got this rich and spiced flavor. The vibe inside the shop is really chill and cozy. One of my favorite things about it that they open until midnight, which is amazing if you're out late. They also have tables outside, which is perfect when the weather’s nice. If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by. Super good drinks&desserts and just a great atmosphere all around💪🏼🥰"

"My boyfriend and I love this place!! We are both college students so we like to come here and do our schoolwork. I love to try new drinks everytime we come. I love their refreshers, my favorite is the lemon mint refresher, its so good!! Their lattes are also really good, they have so much flavor! For pastries we love the bee bites. The cream cheese paired with the soft breads and honey tastes amazing. The owner of the place is very nice, there was one time we went and they had ran out of my favorite refresher, it wasn’t a big deal to me but the owner was kind enough to give me a different drink and a pastry on him. I wasn’t expecting that at all but we were very thankful. Overall we really love this place but we just wish there were more power outlets. The power outlets are all in one corner of the cafe and some of them don’t work unfortunately. If you want to use this as a place as a study spot I would just keep that in mind. It can also become very loud and crowded especially on weekends and at night. Its a nice spot to catch up with friends or just study or work. This place is definitely popular for a reason!"
